Angola conducted its second stakeholders training on BCH under the UNEP-GEF BCHIII project from 22nd to 24th June 2021. The workshop was organized by the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Environment of Angola in collaboration with UNEP. The online Workshop addressed Angolan BCH's key stakeholders including government representatives, industry, importers, producers, distributors, researchers, farmers and farming organizations. The training was aimed at enhancing national capacity on how to use the BCH to effectively implement the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety.

• introduction to the BCH central Portal
• finding information on the BCH
• the Supplementary Protocol on Liability and Redress
• Country Status for Cartagena Protocol and the BCH

• Introduction to the BCH training materials
• Group works and discussion sessions
The workshop opening remarks were given by the Ministry Culture, Tourism and Environment director and was facilitated by Prof Ossama AbdelKawy and Mr Charles Kouassi from the BCH III Project, UNEP and Mme Nadia Tatiana from the Ministry Culture, Tourism and Environment Angola
